Emily's Allergy Test
Emily had her allergy test done today and I wanted to show you guys whats left of her back now that they are done. The picture is sideways because i havne't quite figured out how to change it around on these new computer programs i'm using.
She looks like she has some sort of disease or something. Here are some other pictures that I took this week that I thought you might like.

Scary Things
Sometimes when Emily says she is scared of something I just pass it off and say oh, that wont hurt you, but I've never asked her why she was scared until today. It started to thunder outside, you know, the kind that shakes the house. So this was our conversation.
Emily: I'm scared mommy!
Me: It's just thunder baby, it can't hurt you, why are you scared of it.
Emily: Because thunder is the name of a big scary monster that shakes the house and is really loud.
No wonder she was scared, if I thought that thunder was a big monster I think I would be scared too. So I think from now on I'll try a little harder to understand things that she is scared of so maybe I can help her not to be scared quite so much.

Hello new jeans!
I just wanted to let everyone know that since I've been dieting, which has been about 6 months, I have lost 22 pounds! Whoohoo! I'm so excited, I'm smaller now than I was before Emily was born. I can comfortably wear a size 16 jeans, so hopefully soon I can fit in a 14 for the first time since like 8th grade. Well, thats all I had to blog about today, I was just excited and wanted to tell you guys.

Good Weather Vs. Bad Allergies
THe weather here is pretty cool now and for the next week, I was so excited about it so I could take Emily out to play, but her allergies had something else in mind. She is sneezing, coughing, and her eyes are terrible. And I really don't know what I'm going to do this next week because she can't have any of her antihistmines because she is going back for a new allergy skin test. I do believe this will be an interesting time. Well, enough about the allergy situation. What do you guys think about the rising gas cost. Right now here is cost $2.85 a gallon, it has stayed at that for about a week now. I just don't understand how in Hawaii it can be $3.60 and at a station in Idaho it can be $2.30. Isn't that price gauging? If anyone knows about this stuff and wants to fill me in please do.

Play Ball
This weekend Emily went to her first ball game, a family friend, Will was playing. She really enjoyed watching them. The only problem was that she wanted to go out on the field to see Will and didn't understand why she couldn't. Other than that we didn't do much this weekend besides go to church. Emily really enjoys church now because we have started a childrens church and they do puppets. When it was time to leave she was determined she was going to stay until I told her that the puppets were going home too, so she decided she guessed she would leave.
On another note, I was leaving work Friday and was headed to the bank and Emily said, "Mom, I'm positive this isn't the way home" I didn't know she knew how to talk like that. And then last night she was taking her treatment in her room and I told her I would be right back and she said, "Mom, while you're at it, get my blanket from the living room" These were also words I didn't know she knew how to use. But I guess I'm just going to have to accept it, my baby is growing up. :(
